SCPS Closed Tues and Wed 1/7 and 1/8
Due to current impact of the winter storm, all Spencer County Schools, Tiger Cub Village, and our Central Office will be closed tomorrow, January 6, 2025. As a reminder, tomorrow was already designated as a District Professional Development Day for staff, so no classes were scheduled for students. We will continue to monitor the stormโ€™s impact, including potential power outages, and will make a decision regarding school for Tuesday, January 7, 2025, as soon as possible.

Last week our 8th grade class from SCMS, as well as a small group of 9th grade students from SCHS, visited the Shelby County Area Technology Center (ATC) to learn more about the schoolโ€™s career pathways opportunities. These high-demand pathways include areas such as pre-nursing and dental, welding, machine tool, industrial maintenance, automotive and diesel technology, business and information technology (IT).
