Did you know that SCHS students have the ability to gain valuable work experience and mentoring by local and regional business leaders through our work-based learning program? Follow along this academic year as we spotlight students who are excelling in their internships and co-op placements, while also acknowledging the collaboration of our employer partners who make these opportunities a reality! Our first shout-out belongs to Lilly Graham. Lilly is an SCHS senior who is employed by the Spencer County Clerk’s Office. “Lilly has the best attitude and is so mature when talking to other government offices. I feel like we may learn as much from her as she will from us. Boys soccer took care of business in their home opener against Henry County tonight, walking away with a 7-1 victory over the Wildcats. Their next match is Wednesday at Thomas Nelson at 6:30.

There are lots of Bears taking the field and court this week- make plans to come out and support our student-athletes!

Mrs. Campbell's Body Systems students got to take our new Anatomage table for a spin! This interactive table offers digitized human cadavers for students to explore. Students can see real-life examples of how different ailments impact the human body.

The Lady Bears soccer team won their home opener and shut out Whitefield Academy 6-0 behind goals from Reagan, Sadie, Carly, Ava, and Kayla. What a great way to kick off the season!
