Our Cubs showed their patriotic pride during the annual Veterans Parade! ๐จ๐ Some students held handmade signs, others cheered โthank you!โ, and many waved flags proudly as our communityโs veterans passed by. ๐โจ
It was a beautiful display of gratitude and respect โ our students truly embodied what it means to be Engaged Citizens! ๐ฆ๐

Today, Claire Lubbers took charge of the library as Librarian for the Day! ๐ค๐ซ She earned this amazing opportunity at our annual Fall Festival auction and did an incredible job helping students find their next favorite book! ๐๐
Claire showed what it means to be an Empowered Learner and Effective Communicator, spreading her love of reading and leadership all around the library! ๐๐

Last week our 5th Grade GT Cubs hit the trails at Bernheim Forest for their Hike to the Giants adventure! ๐ป๐ฅพ They explored the incredible giant sculptures and discovered how nature, art, and storytelling connect in fun and meaningful ways. ๐จ๐ฟ๐
Along the way, our Cubs shined as Engaged Citizens and Empowered Learners, asking questions, making connections, and appreciating the beauty of creativity in the world around them. ๐ก๐ฌ๐

November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. The SC McKinney-Vento Program is selling t-shirts promote awareness and raise funds that goes directly back to students in need. This program serves students in temporary or transitional housing, here in SC Public Schools. Students will be encouraged to wear GREEN every Friday in November. All orders will go through HUCKLEBERRY LANE and you will be INVOICED via email or text for payment.

Our 5th grade Cubs teamed up with the SCHS 3D Design class to create something special for our community! ๐ป๐ Together, they designed and 3D-printed tokens to hand out at the District Veterans Day Parade ๐บ๐ธ๐๏ธ โ a perfect blend of creativity, technology, and teamwork! ๐ก๐ค
These amazing students showed what it means to be Active Collaborators and Engaged Citizens, using their skills to honor and give back to others. ๐โจ
