Spencer County Community,
SCMS is searching for local business partners that will help to make our Career Exploratory Lab a thriving, interactive experience. Hereโs how you can get involved:
Field Trips: Host our students for a day at your business to provide real-world insights into your industry.
Volunteer Opportunities: Share your expertise by leading workshops, mentoring students, or offering career talks.
Supply Donations: Contribute tools, materials, or resources that can help our students explore different career fields.
Any other form of collaboration that aligns with your companyโs strengths and goals.
Your involvement will not only support our students in discovering their passions and career interests but also strengthen the connection between our school and the local business community!

Congratulations Jamie, Abby, and Crystal on your Row the Boat nomination! Here is what a colleague said about you! "Jamie, Abby, and Crystal are leading an incredible initiative with our FMD students at SCMS. On Fridays, these students are taking orders from staff for coffee and iced coffee. The students then make, distribute, and collect the money for the orders. There's nothing better than seeing their smiling, proud faces walk around with a tray of coffee! It's creating ownership and responsibility for the students as they raise money for activities they plan on participating in. There's a lot of buzz (and not just from the caffeine) around here and I wanted to share it with the district and highlight these wonderful ladies. Thank you to Jamie, Abby, and Crystal for the work you're doing with these students, and for the delicious coffee. It's not going unnoticed!"

Come out to support your Grizzlies Football team tonight!
